“Therefore I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.” Job 7:11 NIV
One of my biggest takeaways from the book of Job is that God does not want us to keep silent. Whether that’s going to fellow believers or going to Him, he wants us to talk about our struggles. He wants us to complain and to vent our frustration. He wants us to seek Him in the midst of all seasons of our life, the good and the bad, even if it’s just to ask Him why. We are human, and we cannot understand the ways of God. He knows that, and He wants us to come to Him and rely on Him, even when we are upset and angry at Him.
What do you need to vent to God today? What do you need to leave at His feet and let Him take control of?
