Wisdom

Where can we find wisdom? There is only one place: God!

Read Job 28:12-28

Wisdom is more precious than any jewel or metal. Wisdom is more valuable than anything we can imagine. Verse 13 in this chapter tells us that we cannot find it or comprehend its worth. 

The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about wisdom – after all, it was written by Solomon, the wisest man to ever live. And where did Solomon get his wisdom? From God! True wisdom comes from God. 

“And he said to the human race, ‘The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.’” Job‬ ‭28‬:‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you fear the Lord – hold Him in reverence and awe? Do you shun evil and the darkness it entails?
