“When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.” Revelation‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How much does it take for you to give up and flee out of fear? How much are you willing to endure for faith?

All of the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and the testimony they had maintained. These are the brothers and sisters, believers both men and women, who had been slain because of their faith in Jesus. Not only for their faith, but it says here that they maintained it. 

We are promised a tremendous reward for our faith and our battle to maintain it – but the most important part of that battle is that it’s already been won for us. All we have to do is trust Jesus, and He will provide the strength we need. And, not only that, but He will supply us with the faith we need when we are lacking.
