Hosea 2

Read Hosea 2.

The story of humanity is really a simple one. God created us and gave us everything we would ever need. We chose to be unfaithful to Him, and we decided to only go to Him when it is convenient for us. God made a promise of punishment for our sins. God then chose to make a promise of restoration and redemption.

That’s what I take away from this passage. One day, Jesus will take His bride (the church, the body of believers) back to Himself. Oh, what a day that will be!
