Read Hosea 10.
Short and (not so) sweet: Israel had become so wicked and evil, so all of its land and people were to reap the consequences of those actions.
Hosea, along with many of the prophets of the Old Testament, was sent by God to give an ultimatum – repent and turn to God, or face the consequences. Israel went back and forth between the ways of the world and the ways of God.
We often do this ourselves; we go through the motions and stray from God, go back to Him, and repeat this pattern. In a world full of distractions, it seems pretty easy to do, doesn’t it?
How can you bring your focus to God and keep it on Him daily?
